The sun shone brightly on guests and visitors to Trentham Gardens as the ribbon was cut and Taking Flight was declared officially open.

Taking Flight, to be installed at Trentham Gardens, will feature 5,000 ceramic butterflies and each is on sale as part of an innovative campaign to raise funds for The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People, in Staffordshire.
The Donna Louise has launched a special campaign inspired by former service user Charlotte Thom which will culminate in a stunning butterfly themed art installation at the heart of the world-renowned gardens at the Trentham Estate.
