Children receiving care at The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People in Stoke-on-Trent have received a donation of life-changing technology worth thousands of pounds from children’s charity Lifelites.
In celebration of 20 years as a registered charity, The Donna Louise has collaborated with Nelson’s Distillery, Wade Ceramics and Gladman Developments to launch a limited edition Donna Louise Gin.
The Donna Louise is pleased to be partnering with Burton tour operator, Riviera Travel, to support local children and young people.
Riviera Travel will donate 10% of the total base price of a holiday to the hospice, if the customer mentions The Donna Louise at the time of booking.
Fundraisers at The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People are hoping for an incredi-bubble turn out for the foamiest fundraising event of the year: Bubble Rush, which is coming to Hanley Park on Sunday 22nd September.
The family-friendly fun run will start in a sea of foam and feature four bubble stations where foam canons will be pumping out masses of coloured bubbles.
This year’s Annual Ball, held on Friday 12th July at Spode China Halls, has raised a record £102,835 to support the children, young people, and their families, who rely on The Donna Louise.
Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge has sent a message of support to celebrate and mark Children’s Hospice Week. Children’s Hospice Week (17-23 June) is organised by Together for Short Lives, the UK charity for seriously ill children and families.
