The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People is calling on local businesses, schools, clubs and community groups to don their Christmas Jumpers on Friday 13th December in support of local children and young people.
Nathan Walton, Director of Income Generation at The Donna Louise, explains: “For many of the children and young people who rely on the hospice, there is no way of knowing whether this Christmas might be their last together as a family. Everyone who pulls on a Christmas Jumper for The Donna Louise will be helping give local families here at the hospice the chance to make precious and lasting memories, at Christmas and throughout the year.”
Taking part in The Donna Louise Christmas Jumper Day couldn’t be easier: simply pull on a Christmas Jumper, encourage your staff and colleagues, pupils, friends and family to do the same, and send your donations to The Donna Louise when you’re done.
Nathan Walton, continues: “Christmas is a magical time in most households and at The Donna Louise, it’s particularly special. The hospice is already looking fabulously festive and Christmas Jumper Day is always a real highlight. It’s a great opportunity to bring people together to have a bit of fun and support local families at Christmas time. We’d love to make this year’s bigger than ever before with as many businesses, organisations and individuals as possible across Staffordshire and South Cheshire getting involved.”
