The Donna Louise Hospice for Children & Young People has reopened its shop in Leek following a refit and makeover, transforming the store into a treasure trove of bargains.
Dominique Scott, Head of Retail at The Donna Louise, commented, “We’re thrilled to reopen the shop in Leek. It has a bright, fresh interior and we have lots of really good-quality stock available, so our team can’t wait to welcome shoppers.”
The newly fitted out shop sells clothing and bric-a-brac , with the money raised by the shop supporting more than 260 children and young adults, and their families, across South Cheshire and Staffordshire who rely on services at The Donna Louise.
With families in Leek and the surrounding areas who rely on The Donna Louise, the shop is a great opportunity to support local families and to help raise the profile of the hospice
Store manager, Rachel Aberley commented, “The shop looks fantastic and we hope that people will support The Donna Louise, not only by shopping with us, but also by donating their good quality, unwanted items to our store. We’re also looking for volunteers to help out in the store, so please get in touch if you could spare a few hours each week.”
The shop is located on Derby Street, Leek and opening hours are Monday – Saturday, 9.15am - 4.45pm. Call 01538 384861 to find out more about volunteering.
