Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC have the opportunity to meet some of their footballing heroes when the Wolves “All Stars” team takes on the Brocton FC “Legends” on Sunday 9th September at the Silkmore Lane Sports Ground, Stafford.
The charity match will raise money for The Donna Louise hospice for children and young people, and Brocton FC, and will kick off at 2pm. The Wolves “All Stars” team will include some of the club’s most well-known legends, including striker Mel Eves and centre back Jody Craddock.
And, before the match kicks off, fans have the opportunity to meet some of the players from both teams at an exclusive pre-match lunch from midday. For just £15 per person, fans will enjoy a buffet lunch alongside their footballing heroes, with plenty of opportunities for autographs and photos.
Anyone wanting to enjoy the match itself can head over to the Silkmore Lane Sports Ground, Stafford, for the 2pm kick off. Entrance to the game, including parking, is just £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, payable on the gate.
All proceeds from the match and the pre-match lunch will be split between The Donna Louise, which provides hospice care for more than 260 children and young people, and their families across Staffordshire and Cheshire, and Brocton FC.
Chris Belyavin, Relationship Manager at The Donna Louise, said, “This is a great opportunity for football fans to meet some of the most well-known players from both clubs, and to enjoy the match, which promises to include lots of action.
“We’re really grateful to everyone involved and I hope supporters will come along on the day to enjoy the match, cheer on the teams and help to raise money for The Donna Louise.
