Shoppers visiting Three Spires Shopping Centre in Lichfield can now bag a piece of artwork along with their winter bargains thanks to an exhibition of artwork created by children, young adults and families at The Donna Louise.

The collection of stunning artwork is displayed within the centre - on the railings in the centre of the shopping area - and has already attracted lots of interest and comments from passing shoppers.

Regional Fundraiser for The Donna Louise, Chris Belyavin, explained, “Each of the 22 pieces displayed in the exhibition has been created by a child, young adult, or one of their family members, during their art therapy sessions at The Donna Louise.

“The exhibition in Lichfield has been possible thanks to the generosity of two local councillors Councillor Colin Greatorex and Councillor Natasha Pullen who funded the project, as well as Mat Nation from Personalised Nation who gifted his time to design and install the overall display. I’d like to say a huge thank you to them all for their support. The display looks great and I really hope that shoppers in Lichfield enjoy it.”

Lisa Prokopiou, Three Spires Shopping Centre manager, said: “We’re honoured that we have been able to support the event. The exhibition is a beautiful collection of uplifting artwork, produced by a group of inspiring people and many of our customers have been taking time out to enjoy the display.”

Chris added, “Art therapy is a really important way for the children, young adults and their families to express their feelings in a creative way and is offered to every family who spends time at The Donna Louise. Alongside each piece in the Three Spires display is a brief description about who has created it and it’s great to be able to share them with the people of Lichfield.”
