On Monday 6th November, we launched our new Business Partnership Programme, League of Heroes, at bet365 Stadium.
Business support is really important and contributes almost £500,000 a year to our fundraising total. Our business partnership programme is aimed at forming long-term relationships with our business community - working together to identify, develop and implement a fun and mutually beneficial partnership that’s uniquely tailored to each organisation.
Next year will be a big year for The Donna Louise. The construction of our new young adult facility will begin by the end of 2017 and will continue throughout next year. While the funding for the new building is secured, we will be launching our biggest ever fundraising campaign to raise money to develop our young adults’ service.
Liz Gratton, our Director of Income Generation, explains, “We’re passionate about building partnerships that are unique and engaging, and that plug into each business’s goals and Corporate Social Responsibility.
“Whether it’s holding an event, staff fundraising, commercial opportunities, or volunteering, our team will work closely with each organisation and its staff to provide regular updates, engagement and on-going inspiration.
“A partnership with The Donna Louise is a brilliant way to make a difference in your local community. Whether you’re a team of 3 or 3,000, we’ll work with you to develop a fun and mutually beneficial partnership that’s uniquely tailored to your business.”
We are also proud to welcome our very first business partners into our League of Heroes Hall of Fame. These businesses have all contributed more than £100,000 to The Donna Louise and have raised this money through an array of means such as corporate donations, employee fundraising, matched-funding and sponsorship. The businesses being honoured last night were:
